Job Summary:

Are you a hands-on leader with a strong background in automotive parts and retail operations? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our automotive parts store in Big Lake, MN.

This leadership role is focused on driving retail performance, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional customer service through the process. Your primary focus will be on retail operations, customer engagement, and team development.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Team: Supervise, train, and motivate employees to deliver top-tier service. Manage work schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Drive Store Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensure cleanliness and safety standards, and monitor compliance with company policies.
  • Manage Inventory: Maintain optimal stock levels, coordinate ordering and restocking, and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Serve Customers & Business Clients: Foster strong relationships with retail and B2B customers. Resolve escalated issues professionally and quickly.
  • Support Growth: Analyze sales data, prepare management reports, and help drive the continued growth of the retail store.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in retail or auto parts store management.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Multi-unit management experience
  • Experience with commercial fleet accounts and B2B sales

Schedule Requirements

  • Full-time position
  • Flexibility for inventory deliveries, vendor meetings, and seasonal demands

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Total Compensation:

$68,000 – $88,000 base + commission

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will depend on experience, location, education, and skills, and will be agreed upon during the offer process
