Young Women Leadership Program

Congressman Tom Emmer is launching the third annual Young Women Leadership Program for high school girls in Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District. This non-political/non-partisan program offers an opportunity for young women throughout the district to meet and interact with professional women in the great state of Minnesota who have built successful careers and hold or have held leadership roles in government, business, media, technology and other occupations. This program is free and is dedicated to inspiring young women. Each of these events consist of 3 panelists for the participants to ask questions of. If you have businesses in your chambers that are women-owned or women-run, we would love to connect with them. We are looking to partner with local women-owned/women-run businesses to host our events this summer for the Young Women Leadership Program, as we did last year. They would only be asked to open their doors to the event, give a tour to the young women and explain their business. Our office provides refreshments and handles set up/take down and all other logistics. We will be holding three separate events this summer that we need a host for: Monday, June 4th from 6pm-8pm Monday, July 30th from 6pm-8pm Monday, August 27th from 6pm-8pm
